Annual Public Diplomacy of NATO Forum
On the 16th of February in Bruxelles, Belgium, took place the Annual Forum for Public Diplomacy of NATO.
IDC on NATO participated at the Annual Forum for Public Diplomacy of NATO as a partner of NATO’s Public Diplomacy Division, represented by Elena Marzac, the executive director of IDC on NATO.
The forum of public diplomacy is a platform created by specialists in diplomacy and communication that aims to satisfy and assure the exchange of the best practices. This platform disputes the most recent tendencies, challenges and news from the world of the diplomacy and communication. At the forum participated as well representatives of national governments, international organisations, private companies and the academic sphere, the civil society.
While the Annual Forum for Public Diplomacy 2014 focused on integrated communication, the role of mass-media and the importance of appreciation and evaluation, the Annual Forum for Public Diplomacy 2015 explored how efficient and coordinated are the methods that aim to respond, face and dispute the activities organized by the state and non-state actors that make use of propaganda, that misinform and perform campaigns of destabilization.
