Public lecture by IR Donetk University Professor Yuri Temirov
On 14th of November, the IDC on NATO organized a public lesson held by the IR Professor of the National University of Donetsk – Yurii Temirov, on the topic : ”The Origins of Ukrainian crisis: the Donbass dimension”.
The event was attended by students and professors of various universities from Chisinau. The main topic discussed was the actual crisis from Ukraine, the cultural specifics of the region and the premises of the conflict from eastern Ukraine.
At the end of the discussion, the main conclusion was that the best thing Ukraine and neighboring countries can do, is to implement those reforms that would lead to a modern society, and orient themselves towards European and North-Atlantic integration.
