Public lecture “The cooperation between Republic of Moldova and NATO. IDC NATO role in facilitating communication with the public in Moldova on security issues’.

On the 27th of April, within the Lyceum Mihai Viteazul, Ms. Elena Mârzac, Executive Director of IDC NATO held a public lecture entitled ‘Cooperation between Moldova and NATO.The role of IDC NATO is in facilitating communication with the public in Moldova on security issues’. Ms Elena Mârzac spoke about the role of North Atlantic Organization in the world to young people in secondary school, a brief history about its evolution and NATO’s cooperation with Moldova in different areas, such as military, environmental and informational.
Another topic of discussion was the perception of Moldovan population in peacekeeping and national security and propaganda which is exposed to Moldova through mass media.
The lesson was finished with a session of questions and answers and the distribution of information materials.
