Traning “Mass-media role in promoting security and defence aspects”

IDC on NATO is implementing the project “Strengthening the journalists’ abilities in covering security issues and practical cooperation between Moldova and NATO”, during the months of March-October.

The project’s last activity is a training, in which subjects regarding the role of mass-media in promoting security and defense topics will be addressed.

The training will take place on September 21nd and begin at 9:00 AM, within the IDC on NATO’s office, on Banulescu Bodoni Street, 2A. It will be held by a NATO headquarters’ representative and an expert in communication and security.

This project is aiming to increase the level of understanding of the security and defense problems by the local media and includes activities such as a two-day training course for journalists in the field of security issues and bilateral cooperation between the Republic of Moldova and NATO, during March 30th and the 31st, 2015, followed by a study visit to the Peacekeeping Battalion 22, on April 3rd.
