Firstly I would like to introduce myself: I am a 24-year-old student from Germany and I am currently studying Empirical Political- and Social Research (Master of Arts) at the University of Stuttgart. I was in Moldova for three months as an intern at the IDC on NATO. In addition to improving my knowledge in international politics, I also wanted to use this opportunity to discover the culture of Moldova and to analyze the geopolitical situation. The IDC on NATO really helped to achieve these goals. My responsibilities as an intern included public relation activities, policy research and organizing events. Due to the various fields of work I had the opportunity to experience all sorts of challenges. As a result of working with the IDC on NATO and their competent employees, I now feel strongly that I am able to deal with recent complex political issues. Furthermore I had the privilege of working with a very kind and amusing team. There was always time for exciting political debates, which enhanced my knowledge about the NATO and international relations. The team treated me as an employee of equal value. That is one of the reasons why I had so much fun working with them. I want to thank all of my colleagues in the IDC on NATO for this exciting and interesting time.
